Booking and Scheduling Guidelines

Early planning is key to securing your preferred dates, especially during busy seasons.

Reservation Process: Request a quote via our website, phone, or email. A 25% deposit secures your booking and is credited toward the final cost. We provide a detailed contract outlining services, timeline, and estimate.
Changes and Cancellations: Notify us at least 10 days in advance for modifications. Cancellations within 72 hours incur full deposit forfeiture. Refunds for earlier cancellations are processed minus a processing fee.
Pricing Details: Estimates are based on inventory, distance, and services (e.g., packing, storage). Additional fees may apply for access issues, heavy items, or fuel surcharges. All amounts are in USD.

Preparation and Packing Rules

Proper preparation minimizes risks and delays.

Client Duties: Ensure items are ready for transport. Prohibited items (e.g., hazards, perishables) must be excluded—refer to our separate policy. Valuables should be carried personally.
Packing Standards: If self-packing, use sturdy materials; we offer supplies for purchase. For our packing service, we use professional-grade boxes and wraps. Improper packing voids liability.
Inventory and Coverage: We create a thorough inventory during loading. Choose from basic Released Value ($0.60/lb) or Full Value Protection (additional cost, deductibles apply).

On-Site and Transport Regulations

Safety is our top priority during the move.

Access Requirements: Provide clear paths, elevators, and parking. Any permits or fees are your responsibility. Delays from site issues may result in extra charges at $100/hour.
Pet and Family Safety: Keep pets and children supervised and away from work areas. We recommend off-site care during loading/unloading.
Conduct Rules: No smoking, open flames, or interference with equipment. Our crew adheres to health protocols; clients must do the same.

Delivery and Settlement Terms

We aim for efficient completion upon arrival.

Timeline Expectations: Local moves typically complete same-day; interstate vary by distance (3-14 days). Updates provided for any delays due to weather or traffic.
Inspection and Claims: Examine items at delivery and note discrepancies on the inventory. File claims within 90 days with evidence; we process per FMCSA guidelines.
Final Payment: Due upon unloading. Late payments add 1.5% interest monthly. Disputes resolved through arbitration under originating state laws.
